Samsung teases upcoming foldable smartphones in a new teaser video

Samsung has confirmed that the company will host the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 10, where folding smartphones that will come from the brand will be announced.

Ahead of the launch event, the company has shared a new teaser video that tempts the next generation of the next generation-Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4.

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on August 10 at 09:00 Eastern time (EST), which is at 06:30 in India. Along with the cellphone that can be folded, the company is also expected to launch the next Galaxy Watch 5 series at the event.

Based on the report, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will display a renewed design and a single hinge design that is smaller, lighter, and thinner instead of double hinges found in the previous generation model.

This will display a 7.6 -inch interior screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and reportedly has a fingerprint sensor below display. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will display a 6.7 -inch screen that is folded vertically, but will have a larger 2 -inch cover screen.

Both smartphones will be supported by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processors with RAM up to 12GB and 512GB of internal storage. As for the camera, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will have a 10 megapixel telephoto sensor with a 3x optical zoom, a 50 megapixel wide angle camera, and a 12 megapixel ultra-wide camera.

The South Korean giant has begun to receive pre-order for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4 Smartphone. The official price and the date of availability are unknown, and we have to wait for the launch event to find out more.
