New Delhi: After buying a spectrum worth ₹ 88,078 Crore at the auction, Reliance Jio on Monday said he was preparing to launch a sophisticated 5G network to make India global leaders in connectivity and digital solutions.
The company emphasizes that this is fully prepared for the launch of 5G in the shortest period, supported by the presence of national fibers, the All-IP network without inheritance infrastructure, a pile of 5G original and strong global partnership throughout the technology ecosystem.
Akash M Ambani, Chair of Reliance Jio Infocomm, said the company would lead the Indian parade to the 5G era and added, “We will celebrate ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ with the launch of PAN India 5G”.
“Jio is committed to offering world-class services, affordable, and 5G affordable. We will provide services, platforms, and solutions that will accelerate the Indian digital revolution, especially in important sectors such as education, health care, agriculture, manufacturing and e -GOVERNANCE. …, “Ambani said in a statement.
In the auction that had just been completed, Jio had obtained the right to use a spectrum in 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 1800 MHz, 3300 MHz and 26 GHz ribbons.
“The acquisition of the right to use this spectrum will allow Jio to build the most sophisticated 5G network in the world and further strengthen India’s global leadership in wireless broadband connectivity,” said the company’s statement.
Jio’s 5G network will allow digital solutions that will accelerate AI India (artificial intelligence) which is driven by March to become an economy of $ 5 trillion more.
Jio highlighted that they created some world records during the launch of the biggest 4G network in the shortest period of time and added, “Jio will now improve further standards with his 5G service”.
Jio’s 5G solution “was made in Indians, by Indians and in accordance with the needs of every Indian”.
“With an unmatched 700 MHz spectrum trail, Jio will be the only operator that provides Pan-India 5G services with faster speeds, lower latency and massive connectivity,” Jio said.
According to sources, Jio has bought a spectrum worth ₹ 39,270 crore at the coveted 700 MHz ribbon and radio worth ₹ 1,050 crore for a spectrum in the 800 MHz ribbon.
Jio paid ₹ 33,740 crore for radiowaves in 3300 MHz bands, ₹ 6,990 Crore (26 GHz Band), and ₹ 7,027 Crore (1800 MHz Band), the source said.
Meanwhile, the company said the total annual payment for the spectrum purchased in several bands added up to ₹ 7,877 Crore.
“Through this acquisition, Jio’s total spectrum trail has increased significantly to 26,772 MHz (uplink-downlinks), which is the highest in India,” the company said.
The largest telecom spectrum auction in India received a record of offer ₹ 1.5 Lakh, with Jio Mukesh Ambani who cornered almost half of all air waves sold with offers ₹ 88,078 Crore.
Gautam Adani India’s richest group, which entry in the auction is billed by several people as other points in competition with ambani, paying ₹ 212 Crore for 400 MHz, or less than one percent of all spectrums sold, in a band that is not used to offer to offer public telephone service.
Tycom Tycoon Sunil Bharti Bharti Bharti Airtel made a successful offer of ₹ 43,084 Crore, while Vodafone Idea Ltd bought a spectrum for ₹ 18,799 Crore.
The Minister of Telecommunications Ashwini Vaishnaw said about the spectrum of 72,098 MHz offered at 10 bands, 51,236 MHz, or 71 percent, sold.
Overall, he said the offer worth ₹ 1.50.173 Crore was accepted, adding that the government in the first year would get ₹ 13,365 Crore.
